| For the past few months exceptional circumstances have prevented W.Bro. Sydney Jones, of Temperance Mark Lodge No 774, from attending his Lodge including Provincial Grand Lodge in May 2015. At Provincial Grand Lodge W.Bro Sydney was appointed Past Provincial Grand Inspector of Works. W.Bro Sydney is a popular Mark Mason and has contributed much to his Lodge and a number of his Brethren felt it would be fitting if he could experience being invested with his rank. | |
| Therefore, with the permission of the Provincial Grand Master RWBro Keith Alan Beardmore, on June 1st in the Roman Lodge Room at Hope Street, Liverpool RWBro Peter Connolly PProvGM opened Mark Provincial Grand Lodge by virtue. RWBro. Peter Connolly then invested W.Bro Sydney Jones with his new Rank and presented him with his Patent of Appointment. | |
| A number of Brethren from Temperance Mark Lodge No 774 were present together with the Special Representative for Liverpool, W.Bro. Mike Winterbottom PAGDC. A small buffet was held after the occasion with everyone feeling satisfied with the outcome especially W.Bro Sydney who expressed his great pleasure and thanks to all concerned. | |
